PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design supporting system capable of efficiently performing a work by reducing the loads of both a user and a maker, and manufacturing and supplying custom parts leading to the high level of satisfaction of a user in a short time. SOLUTION: A maker side server 1 is provided with a basic shape data base 3 in which a single or plural basic shapes per parts are stored, a display means 6 for displaying a picture, a user design correcting means 4 for allowing a maker side engineer to correct a user design prepared by a user, and a design drawing preparing means 5 for preparing a design drawing based on the finally prepared final user design. A user terminal 11 is provided with a display means 16 for displaying the picture, a user design preparing means 13 for allowing the user to prepare the use design by adding working based on the basic shape specified by the user from the basic shape data base 3, a laws and regulations limiting means 14 for limiting the working under laws and regulations, and a mounting dimension limiting means 15 for limiting the working under the mounting dimensions on the main body.
