摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for storing substance data obtained by integrating the shape and physical property of an object with a small storage capacity, and for performing the unitary management of the shape, structure, solidity information, and history of the object, and for managing data related with a series of processes ranging from the design to the working, assembly, test, and evaluation with the same data, and for realizing the unitary management of CAD and simulation. SOLUTION: This method comprises an outside data input step (A) for inputting outside data 12 constituted of the boundary data of an object 1, an octant tree division step (B) for dividing the outside data into stereoscopic cells 13 whose boundary planes are orthogonally crossing by octant tree division, and a cell data storage step (C) for storing various solidity values for each cell. Also, each divided cell 13 is divided into an inside cell 13a positioned inside the object or space and a boundary cell 13b including the boundary face in the octant tree division step (B).
