PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory in which the data propagating characteristic of a data bus is improved. SOLUTION: Total length of a data bus can be reduced by contriving the arrangement of a memory cell array arranged around a central region CEN of chips. One side of two memory arrays positioned at a point symmetry position for the central region CEN is assumed to a memory array corresponding to a low-order DQ terminal, and the other side is assumed to a memory array corresponding to a high-order DQ terminal. Preferably, the memory array corresponding to the high-order DQ terminal and the memory array corresponding to the low-order DQ terminal are arranged respectively in an assembly state. |
