PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cup inspection device capable of inspecting molding errors with small deformations, without being affected by the shade of a shell bonding part of a paper cup. SOLUTION: The paper cup inspection device, while varying the relative positions between an inspection pattern present on the surface of a paper cup to be inspected and a reference pattern, computes a correlation function to check the patterns against each other. Depending on whether or not the maximum value of the correlation function is within a predetermined range, the device determines whether or not there is a molding error of the paper cup. |
