PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee the relation between a paper document and scan data by providing scanned data of a paper document with information indicating that they are certainly scanned data of the paper document and managing the data. SOLUTION: A service agency 20 receives an object to be converted (for example, paper document) 11 from a service user 10, converts the converted object 11 into electronic data with a scanner 21, calculates an electronic signature for the converted electronic data, and stores the electronic signature as a conversion result together with the converted electronic data in a data managing server 22. The service agency 20 transmits the conversion result, for example, as an optical disk 24 to the service user having requested the conversion if necessary. |
