PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the auditory load on an inspector by changing the output form of alarm message between in the inspection of an alarm and the alarming of a gas leak, and to inspect not only an alarm circuit but also the operation of a gas detecting circuit by inputting a false gas detection sensor signal to the gas detecting circuit. SOLUTION: This gas leak alarm is provided with gas detecting means GD1 and 2 for inputting the outputs of gas sensors GS1 and 2 to detect a gas leak from the output level thereof and outputting a detection signal; an alarm generating means AL for generating an alarm from a speaker SP on the basis of the gas detection signal; false signal generating means DS1 and 2 for generating false signals of the gas sensors and inputting the false signals to the gas detecting means GD1 and 2, and an alarm output changing means ALC for varying the output form of the alarm generated from the alarm generating means AL from that in a general gas leak detection on the basis of the detection signals outputted from the gas detecting means GD1 and 2 by the input of the false signals.
