PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external door upper part support device for automatic vending machine capable of exhibiting a theft prevention effect and dispensing with the use of strong packing materials even when stacking the vending machines in two layers. SOLUTION: This external door upper part support device for automatic vending machine is provided with a body side hinge board 21 attached to the upper surface of an automatic vending machine body 5, a door side hinge board 22 attached to the upper surface of the external door 1, a hinge pin 23 vertically inserted through the body side hinge board 21 and the door side hinge board 22, a cylindrical part 24 integrally fixed near the external door 1 in an attitude suspending from the door side hinge board 22 and receiving the bottom part of the hinge pin 23, and a pull-out prevention pin 25 inserted from the side where the external door 1 is provided, in the cylindrical part 24 and preventing the hinge pin 23 from being pulled out from the cylindrical part 24. It is so constituted that, when the external door is opened, the pull-out prevention pin 25 cannot be detached therefrom.
