PURPOSE: A golf swing correction system and method is provided to offer golf swing data over the internet in a case that a user wants a golf swing correction at a golf practice center with a swing correction system installed at so that the user can correct the golf swing at home or office as well as a practice center while watching a moving picture with an ideal swing angle, an ideal swing trajectory, swing time and a body weight moving according to a swing. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a controller(60), a practice center communication unit, a personal communication unit, a web server, a 3 dimensional posture data generation server, a golf swing management server and a mail server. The practice center communication unit receives image data from the controller(60), and outputs swing posture correction data or a moving picture according to a swing by a key operation of a user. The personal communication unit outputs also swing posture correction data or a moving picture according to a swing by a key operation of a user. The web server receives the data from the practice center communication unit and the personal communication unit, outputs corresponding control signals, and transmits swing posture correction data or a moving picture to the practice center communication unit and the personal communication unit. The 3 dimensional posture data generation server receives the control signals from the web server, generates 3 dimensional posture data, i.e. wire frame, compares the generated wire frame with stored reference one, and outputs swing correction data. The golf swing management server stores a moving picture of a golf swing if receiving the control signals from the web server, and outputs the stored moving picture. The mail server sends various golf data to the practice center communication unit and the personal communication unit via an e-mail.
