<p>The valve slide made from sheet-metal components fixed together, consists of a dished sheet metal plate (2) with sealing faces, spot-welded to a supporting frame (1), ribs being formed in plate and/or frame in the area where they bear against each other (3). These ribs can distort, and the spot-welds are formed at their highest points, where they are in direct contact with frame or plate. A welding boss can be formed at the highest point of each rib by pressing. Guides (8) can be on the frame edge, running in the direction of movement.</p> |
