PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lighting equipment having a discharge lamp lighting device enabled to restrain heat radiation and generation of noise. SOLUTION: The lighting equipment is equipped with a discharge lamp lighting device including a heat generation member 7 generating heat by high frequency switching, and a supplementary heat radiation member 15, radiating the heat by conducting the heat generated at the heat generation member to a body of equipment 1, is interposed between a heat radiation plate 8 to which, the heat generation member is mounted, and the body of equipment, further, the supplementary heat radiation member is made to have small stray capacitance between the heat generation member 7 and the body of equipment 1, and high impedance against the high frequency generated at the heat generation member 7. Namely, at the middle position along the direction of heat conduction of the supplementary heat radiation member 15, an electric insulation layer 18, combined with a heat conducting property, is located along the direction crossing the direction of heat conduction. |
