PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update a control value corresponding to the level of input signals to an more accurate value in a predistortion distortion compensation device for compensating distortion generated in an amplifier for amplifying the input signals by control using the control value. SOLUTION: A distortion generation means 1 generates the distortion in the input signals, an input signal level detection means 3 detects the level of the input signals, and a distortion control means 4 controls the distortion generated by the distortion generation means 1 by using the control value corresponding to the detected level of the input signals. A distortion component level detection means 7 detects the level of distortion components included in amplified signals outputted from the amplifier 2, integration means K1-KN integrate the level of the distortion components detected for the respective detected levels of the input signals, and a control value updating means 10 updates the control value corresponding to the level so as to reduce integrated results for the respective levels of the input signals.
