PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently give expression to musical performance data. SOLUTION: According to obtained tonality information and interval information, it is decided whether or not musical sound characteristics change by pieces of pitch information representing the respective pitches of a series of notes at least included in supplied musical performance data and specific musical performance related information is added to the supplied musical performance data according to the decision result. Namely, a characteristic change means sequentially evaluates and decides the pieces of pitch information included in the musical performance data according to the obtained tonality information and interval information. An information adding means adds the specific musical performance related information to all the pieces of pitch information complying with the decision result of the changing means. Consequently, a user can easily and efficiently give expression to the whole musical performance data without giving the expression to proper positions, one by one, over the whole musical performance data. |
