<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and smoothly make cable insertion into a cable holder in a cable laying device which makes fixing a cable passed into a tube to the cable holder fixed on the inside wall of the tube. SOLUTION: A pair of arms 7 which is supported being capable of moving up and down and disposed at a certain distance is disposed in a working car 1 of the cable laying device. The top end of each arm 7 forms a rack of a chevron-like shape and has a cable catcher 8 which can be opened and closed in front and in the rear. Each cable catcher 8 has a pair of hands which opens and closes by an open-close mechanism, catches the cable by opening or closing the hands, positions and holds at the crest of the rack center. The cable positioned and held by the pair of the cable catcher 8 is supported approximately horizontal. When it is raised the rack pushes aside a cable already inserted in the cable catcher 8, and the cable is inserted in a horizontal state above the crest at the rack center where there is no cable already inserted.</p> |
