PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication terminal equipment and a method for informing the arrival of an incoming call that can surely notice the arrival of an incoming call without stopping music. SOLUTION: The communication terminal 2 of this invention for transmitting/ receiving a communication signal to/from a base station 35 is characterized by that the communication terminal 2 is provided with music reproduction sections 11, 17, 18 that reproduce music and a display instruction section 42 that transmits a display signal to display prescribed information (user ID) to a display section 70 outside of the system employing the communication terminal when an incoming call arrives during reproduction of music.
