<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a transparent touch panel without causing malfunction due to insulation failure caused by peeling or dropping off dot spacers. SOLUTION: A transparent touch panel 10 comprises a pair of transparent substrates 11, 12 retained facing each other at prescribed intervals with the facing planes thereof set so as to be parallel, and transparent conductive films 13, 14 are respectively formed on the surfaces of the facing planes of the respective transparent substrates 11, 12. Dot spacers 16 for retaining a gap 15 between the facing conductive films 13 and 14 are formed on a surface 11a of the transparent substrate 11 retained so as to face the other one. A boundary surface S is formed into a recessed part (hole part) 11b which is recessed more than the surface 11a of the transparent substrate 11. The recessed part 11b is filled with the dot spacers 16. It is thus possible to improve adhesiveness of the transparent substrate 11 and the dot spacer 16, thereby improving durability.</p> |
