PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem existing heretofore that rotational drive is transmitted to a tray and the tray generates an uncomfortable vibration sound when a disk medium is placed on the tray, conveyed to a prescribed position, and rotationally driven. SOLUTION: This tray loading device for the disk media is provided with a flange 38 having a U-shaped groove at a front end 24 in the loading direction of the tray 11 for conveying the disk medium 31 to a prescribed position and is provided with a columnar boss 38 having a head of a conical surface 38f at a casing 35 having a driving source and driving means which are mounted with the tray 11 and drive the tray 11 and the disk medium 31. The device regulates the position in the transverse direction of the tray 11 and eliminates the uncomfortable vibrations of the tray by fitting the U-shaped groove of the flange 38 to the columnar boss 38 when the tray 11 is conveyed and loaded to a prescribed position of the casing 35.
