PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that, in a product sum arithmetic circuit for executing a SIMD operation, for instance, a new path (procedure) that makes an argument in matrix operation to be copied or swapped is required, resulting in the decrease of processing performance. SOLUTION: This SIMD product sum operation method being capable of executing product sum operation of 2n parallel (where n is a natural number) simultaneously, arranges, in the SIMD(single instruction stream-multiple data stream) product sum operation is executed by making 2n pieces of accumulator pairs of 241 and 242 into respective one pairs and adjacent (2p-1)-th and 2p-th accumulators is each pair of accumulators are inter changed without changing the order of accumulator addresses in the accumulator pair.
