PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sending image data read by an image input- output device to a client computer connected to two networks by using the image input-output device such as a facsimile machine and the two networks. SOLUTION: This image data network system comprises a first communication network, a second communication network, an image inputting means connected to the second communication network and provided with an image reading function for converting a visible image into image data, at least one client computer connected respectively to the first communication network, and a server computer connected to the first and second communication networks and for transferring the image data inputted from the image inputting mean via the second communication network to the client computer.
