PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal communication method of a communication terminal, which can restore communication without causing inconvenience even if a token is lost in a communication controller transferring data by a master and a slave in a token passing system. SOLUTION: An outer processor 6 and a neuron chip 5 transfer data by token passing. The application of the neuron chip 5 periodically transmits a periodical transmission request to the outer processor 6 through communication firmware. When the periodical transmission request is received, the outer processor 6 transmits the token to which a periodical transmission request response is added to the neuron chip 5. The application of the neuron chip 5 determines that the token is lost when a reception event is not generated and reset is made. Thus, the outer processor 6 and the neuron chip 5 are synchronized and the token is restored.
