METHOD FOR REDUCING BOOMING NOISE IN WAGON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reducing booming noise in a wagon without increasing in weight by adjusting the frequency of resonance to a body of a panel part. SOLUTION: The frequency of resonance of a rear floor panel is set to be higher than the bending frequency of resonance of a body by providing a reinforcement 10 on the rear floor panel 5 in which the frequency of resonance is lower than the bending frequency of resonance of the body. Alternatively, the frequency of resonance of a back door 2 is set to be lower than the bending frequency of resonance of the body by reducing the elastic reaction of a locking mechanism which is a striker 7 at the end of the back door 2 or a locking mechanism in the vicinity of the opening part of a counter part thereof in which the frequency of resonance thereof is higher than the bending frequency of resonance of the body.
