The assisting assembly utilizes a system that monitors the rotational speed (nM) of the motor drive shaft (27) and the rotational speed (nZ) of the wheel drive shafts. The system calculates the difference ( DELTA nZ) in the rotational speeds such that the clutch engaging and disengaging timings during a gear change can be adjusted accordingly.
