<p>Method and apparatus to regulate the tension for stretching machines (10, 11) comprising means (15) to feed at least a conductor (12), cable or optical fibre to be stretched, and braking/traction assemblies (16, 22) which comprise a drum (17, 18) on which the conductor (12) is able to wind, the drum (17, 18) comprising a supporting shaft (23). The method provides to detect, during the stretching of the conductors (12), a plurality of electric signals arriving from one of either the braking assembly (16), the traction assembly (22) or the feed assembly (15) of the conductors (12) to be stretched, to send said electric signals to a processing unit (29) suitable to calculate a value of tension of the conductors (12), to compare said value with the pre-set value, and to intervene in feedback on the drive members of one of either the braking assembly (16), the traction assembly (22) or the feed assembly (15) to correct the discrepancies between the value of tension detected and the pre-set value. <IMAGE></p> |
