Temperature sensor (4) for measuring the temperature of an electric train power rail (1). The power rail has a contact surface (2) from which power is drawn by a current drawer for the train. The temperature sensor is connected to the power rail on the opposite side to the contact surface on a pressure surface. The invention also relates to a corresponding temperature measurement device with an inventive temperature sensor and an analysis device that calculates temperature from the sensor signal and that can be remotely interrogated and controlled using radio waves.
