PURPOSE: A system and method for integrating and providing SMS(Short Message Service), character service and ARS(Automatic Response System) service in a mobile system is provided to synthetically offer SMS, character service and ARS service at a low cost by providing voice associated service through traffic channels and character associated service through paging channels. CONSTITUTION: An MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(4) is connected with a server(5) and an IWF(Inter-Working Function)(6). The IWF(6) is connected with an SMSC(SMS Center)(7) and an ISMSC(Interactive SMSC)(8). Also the SMSC(7) and an ISMSC(8) are connected to the server(5). The server(5) is comprised of a voice processing part, a text message processing part, a character processing part, a service driving software part, an operation/management part, a session management part, a database part, and a billing processing part. |
