PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce machining man-hours and installing man-hours of a rotating shaft of an electric motor and an assist shaft in an electric power steering device by enabling equalization of axes of both the rotating shaft and the assist shaft even if reducing the number of using bearing items when connecting the assist shaft to the rotating shaft through a torque limiter. SOLUTION: In this electric power steering device 10, the assist shaft 33 is connected to the rotating shaft 32 of the electric motor 30 through the torque limiter 60, and the torque limiter 60 connects a driving side member 61 and a driven side member 62 with prescribed limit torque such that the driving side member 61 and the driven side member 62 can relatively rotate. The rotating shaft 32 is fixed to the driving side member 61, while the assist shaft 33 is spigot-connected to the driving side member 61 on the same axis as the rotating shaft 32. |
