INSTANTANEOUS DRIVE MECHANISM FOR DATE INDICATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for instantaneously changing a date display without needing so much torque from a motor member of a timepiece. SOLUTION: An instantaneous date changing mechanism has a driving means and a positioning means for an indicator. The driving means includes a spring having a finger acting on the teeth of the indicator, at the end. The positioning means is formed with a heel inserted between two teeth of the indicator. The driving means is constituted to release the heel at least partially from the teeth of the indicator when the driving means has to drive the indicator.
