PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening aid for a can wherewith persons including little children, aged ones or those being weak in finger strength or those having long nails can take out a can lever to open the can without touching the can lever directly. SOLUTION: The can lever A is drawn by a nail (5) of the opening aid and caught at the innermost part (1) of a hook of the opening aid, and a lever pivot (2) of the opening aid is applied to a caulked part D of the can lever, and the opening aid is turned to a stopper part (3) and thereby the can can be opened safely without touching the can directly by hand.
