PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter holder capable of solving a problem that the cutter holder collides with a side of the cut paper roll, and the printed paper roll is bent, preventing a part tattered by the action of a rotary blade from being seen from a printed face side, and further preventing the remaining of a mark of a pressing roller onto the printed face. SOLUTION: This cutter holder comprises the rotary blade 15 for cutting the paper roll over its width direction, a rotating shaft 19 of the rotary blade, a holder body 13 rotatably supporting the rotating shaft of the rotary blade, the pressing roller 17 mounted concentrically with the rotary blade in adjacent to the rotary blade at a rear side in the paper advancing direction when observed from the rotary blade, and having a diameter smaller than the rotary blade, and a supporting face 21 formed on an upper face of a holder body, projecting to a front side in the paper advancing direction when observed from the rotary blade, and formed at a rear side in the advancing direction of the holder body in cutting. The rotary blade is faced from a non-printed face side of the paper roll.
