PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that fine particles in a slurry in a conventional mold for cast molding clogs pores of an open cell porous material so that a ventilating amount of important physical properties is lowered in the mold so that stable molding can not be established. SOLUTION: A mold for cast molding comprises the open cell porous material made of an epoxy resin and containing the epoxy resin, a polyamide curing agent, a filling material and water. A silver component is added to the open cell porous material.
