The fastener system for the assembly of a cupboard or other furniture, has a recess (8) in the outer wall section (2) and a passage (7) through the outer wall section (4) of the fitting, so that they are aligned with each other when the outer wall section is closed. A pin closure (5) is within the passage, projecting partially into the recess, to prevent an opening action at the outer wall section. The closure head (11) is thicker than the inner dimensions of the passage, in a countersunk opening so that its surface (12) is flush with the outer surface (13) of the fitting wall section.
