PURPOSE: A water saving device of a flush valve type toilet bowl is provided to economize on water by controlling the quantity of washing water according to urine or feces. CONSTITUTION: The water saving device of a flush valve type toilet bowl comprises: a housing(100) having a space inward; a sensor-cum-controller(200) attached to a space of an upper cap(120) of the housing(100) to sense a user, to distinguish urine or feces automatically after stool and to drain the corresponding washing water; an operating unit(300) operating to drain washing water into the toilet bowl according to control signals generated from the sensor-cum-controller(200); a control unit(400) for the travel of an operating bar attached on the bearing member of the operating unit(300) to adjust the travel of the operating bar to correspond to water pressure; a burglarproof unit(500) for preventing the separation of the housing(100) from a connecting pipe of a flush valve; a displacement control unit for controlling the quantity of washing water drained into the toilet bowl; and a manual operating unit for operating the operating unit(300) manually.
