PURPOSE: A device for recovering carrier is provided to control an address of an ROM table of a shared memory and a timing of data output from the ROM table, thereby sharing a carrier recovery ROM table with a phase derotator ROM table. CONSTITUTION: The first selector(201) selectively outputs a CR(Carrier Recovery) address or a PD(Phase Derotator) address according to a control signal. An ROM table(202) outputs a sine wave and an excited wave stored in the address output from the first selector. The second selector(203) outputs the sine wave and the excited wave to the first multiplier(204) or the second multiplier(205) according to the control signal. An I address and a Q address are included in the CR address and the PD address, respectively, and are output from the first multiplier. The sine wave and the excited wave are included in CR data and PD data output from the second selector.
