PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence of a surface potential of a medium to be recorded on a recording image and satisfy requests in terms of various recording characteristics, in an ink jet recording head unit for sucking and conveying the medium in an electrostatic attraction type. SOLUTION: The medium to be recorded is formed by adhering alumina particles 300 or the like to respective fibers 110. Thereby, its surface resistance value is set by raising 1×1011 Ω/(square) or less. As a result, when the medium is conveyed by the electrostatic attraction, a surface potential of the medium generated thereby is rapidly converged to 0 V, and hence a deflection of a discharging ink droplet by the surface potential or an adhesion of an ink mist to the medium can be prevented. |
