PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and an image forming device capable of preventing an abnormal image caused by a foreign matter such as flocculated toner or paper powder mixed in toner recovered by a cleaning means without removing the foreign matter, and effectively utilizing the toner recovered by the cleaning means as recycled toner. SOLUTION: A recycling mode in which an image is formed by restoring the toner recovered from a photoreceptor 1 by a cleaning device 6 to a developing device 3 and a non-recycling mode in which the toner is not recycled and discarded are switched in accordance with the amount of the foreign matter such as the paper powder or the flocculated toner lump in the toner. Thus, the abnormal image caused by the foreign matter is prevented without removing the foreign matter mixed in the toner. |
