摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine system to be capable of making engine power performance and exhaust emission control performance compatible with each other. SOLUTION: The water ratios of gas oil, water, and an emulsifier supplied from a gas oil tank 4, a water tank 5, and an emulsifier cartridge 6, respectively, are regulated by flow rate variable control valves 11-13 so that NOx is reduced and can be fed as emulsion fuel to a combustion chamber 41. Further, to reduce PM, an electric heater 43 of a DPF 34 is controllable according to a temperature sensor 36. In the case it is in an intermediate load area, when the temperature of the DPF 34 is lower than a set temperature at which PM is burnt, the heater 43 is brought into a heated state, a ratio of a water feed amount to a fuel feed amount is variably controlled. Meanwhile, when temperature is higher than the set temperature, a water ratio is controlled variably to a high in comparison with a value when it is lower than the set temperature. When the temperature of the heater 43 is increased to temperature higher than a temperature at which a filter is damaged, control is effected such that heating of the heater 43 is stopped.
