PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust position of a guide element for guiding a sheet material to position of a pile, and to continuously monitor this fitness, and to adjust when necessary. SOLUTION: A guide element 24 belonging to an upper pile range 35 and arranged at a side 7 of a sheet pile 34 opposite to an aligning mechanism for aligning the sheet material 5 in the lateral direction adjusts the lateral position of the sheet material through a sensor element 26 for scanning a side edge 28 of the sheet pile 34 independently of a first guide element 25. |
