PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic type image forming device and an image forming method in which good graininess is obtained even at a low density part by using the same toner, and by which image formation having a wide dynamic range from the low density part to a high density part and image formation suitable for the formation of an image whose maximum image density is high are achieved by changing a fixing condition, and toner for electrophotography used therefor. SOLUTION: This image forming device has a fixing means for melting and fixing a toner image formed by using the toner for electrophotography having structure where a dark color part is covered with a light color part on transfer material. In the device, image density is controlled by changing the fixing condition.
