PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that excessive power to motor is required due to excessive load torque to a drive motor for a photosensitive body and a driving motor for an intermediate transfer body and excessive power is consumed in a color image forming device utilizing a multiple number of image forming bodies and intermediate transfer bodies. SOLUTION: In the device, control is carried out in a method where the driving motor for the image forming body and the driving motor for the intermediate transfer body are controlled independently of each other.
