PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing machine capable of maintaining image quality at a high level by restraining influence exerted on an image in the case of forming the image on the surface of a photoreceptor drum by using liquid toner. SOLUTION: This printing machine 1 is equipped with the photoreceptor drum 2, an electrifying means 3, an exposure means 4, a developing means 19, a transfer roller 6, a backup roller 7 and a control means 20. The developing means 19 is provided with toner storing chambers 5B to 5E and developing rollers 15B to 15E, then space between the surface of the developing roller 15B or the like and the surface of the photoreceptor drum 2 can be adjusted. Therefore, the space is determined corresponding to the rotating speed of the photoreceptor drum, the rotating speed of the developing roller and the characteristics of the liquid toner. The liquid toner is supplied at optimum intervals, so that the influence exerted on the image is restrained and the image quality is maintained at the high level. |
