PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that there is no means for deciding whether occurrence of a significant difference between an assumed expendables and a printable number of sheets is due to undue occurrence of density conditioning as compared with the number of print sheets or not. SOLUTION: A density conditioning decision section 2702 and a density conditioning execution deciding section 2704 make a decision whether density conditioning is executed or not based on detection results of environmental conditions at an imaging section from a sensor 2706 and the number of times of imaging recorded in a counter 2703. When a decision is made that density conditioning is executed, count of a counter 2705 is incremented and displayed or stored such that it can be fed to the outside.
