PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device for a control wire, which is capable of obtaining, at the time of connecting its terminal hardware and the connecting wire, higher high-temperature strength than the strength obtainable by a conven tional metallurgical method. SOLUTION: The terminal hardware having an indented through hole, and the wire whose end part is to be fixedly connected thereto are provided, and a heat-resisting swaged ring secured at an end part of the wire by swaging is housed inside the through hole, while the outer surface of the terminal hardware is pressure-crushed so as to have the wire held sandwiched and pressured between the surface and the indented part.
