<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular traveling control device capable of accelerating/decelerating a vehicle giving no uncomfortable feeling to an occupant, and properly controlling the driving torque of the vehicle driven by the engine. SOLUTION: The vehicular traveling control is executed following such a procedure; a target driving brake torque for the vehicle is set as a control target, a target engine torque and target engine revolutions are obtained from the target driving brake torque, and an engine control is executed in accordance with these respective target parameters. When the respective target parameters of the engine are computed, a target turbine torque of a torque converter is computed from the target driving brake torque (210, 220) first, and a lockup clutch mechanism condition is judged (230, 290). Then, respective target parameters are computed (240-280, 300, 310, 320, 340) in accordance with the control rules set corresponding to the condition of the lockup clutch mechanism.</p> |
