PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to prevent the short between neighboring pixel electrodes by selectively rounding corners of the respective pixel electrodes for realizing the high aperture ratio required for high resolution and maximize the area of reflection electrodes for increasing the reflectance. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a plurality of gate lines(12) and data lines(15) intersecting on a substrate for defining pixel areas, thin film transistors formed in the intersection portions between the gate and data lines, a protection film formed on the entire surface including the thin film transistors, and pixel electrodes(17) connected to the thin film transistors on the protection film and deformed in corner portions for increasing an interval between corners of adjacent pixel electrodes larger than an interval between the adjacent pixel surfaces, thereby preventing the short between the neighboring pixel electrodes. |
