GENE TRANSFERRING COMPLEX USING CATIONIC MACROMOLECULAR MATERIAL AND MEMBRANE ACTIVE MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE: A gene transferring complex using a cationic macromolecular material and a membrane active material is provided, thereby the gene transfer can be improved and toxicity can be decreased. CONSTITUTION: The gene transferring complex is produced by addition of the membrane active material into a mixture of the cationic macromolecular material and DNA, in which the cationic macromolecular material is polyethyleneimine, the membrane active material is KALA peptide; the molecular weight of the polyethyleneimine is 25 kDa, the electric charge ratio of polyethyleneimine and DNA is 4:1 to 20:1, and the weight ratio of DNA and the KALA peptide is 1:8 to 1:20.
