A signal separator (1) may be connected to a standard games console (2). Two video monitors (8, 10) are connected to the signal separator (1). The signal separator (1) takes a composite video signal and optionally audio signals from the games console (2) and splits them for use on the two monitors (8, 10) so that each player has their own independent view and optionally sound of the game. The first player's field (4) is displayed on monitor (8) and the second player's field (6) is displayed on monitor (10), thus the monitors (8, 10) can be physically arranged to avoid distraction from or observation of the other players' activities, thereby enabling isolated two play gaming for a standard single split screen signal. |
