PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer cylinder for a syringe which is excellent in rigidity and especially in impact resistance while maintaining transparency. SOLUTION: This outer cylinder for a syringe is obtained by molding a resin composition which contains in a specific ratio a specified ethylene- propylene random copolymer and an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer polymerized with use of a specific metallocene catalyst, furthermore, may contain in a specific ratio a specified polypropylene homopolymer and/or a specified polyethylene.
