PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device with which a stereoscopic image can satisfactorily be observed even when an observer's observation position changes. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device has a light source means, an optical means, and a display device. After directivity is given to luminous flux emitted from the light source means by the optical means, the luminous flux is transmitted through left or right stripe pixels displayed on the display device, and the stereoscopic image is visually recognized by the observer. The stereoscopic image display device has a first position change means which changes at this time at least part of the light source means and at least part of horizontal relative position of the optical means or/and a second position change means which changes at least part of the light source means and at least part of the relative position of cross direction of the optical means.
