PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed double-sided printing device at a low cost. SOLUTION: The image forming device which forms images by transferring images formed on an image carrier 102 by an image forming section 101, has a first transfer means 103a and a second transfer means 103b both of which transfer the images formed on the same image carrier 102 to paper 106. The image forming device also has an inverting section 104 which turns the paper 106 front to back during the carrying of the paper 106 from the first transfer means 103a to the second transfer means 103b. The image forming section 101 forms a first-side image 105a and a second-side image 105b, which are respectively to be transferred to the front 106a and back 106b of paper 106. The first transfer means 103a transfers the first-side image 105a to the first side 106a of the paper 106, and the second transfer means 103b transfers the second-side image 105b to the second side 106b of the paper 106 inverted by the inverting section 104. |
