<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrostatic charge image developing toner in which the dispersion of an electrification controlling agent is improved and the electrification characteristics are stabilized. SOLUTION: In the toner manufactured by kneading two kinds of binder resins (a polyester resin and a styrene-acrylic resin), a release agent, a pigment and an electrification controlling agent, then cooling, pulverizing and classifying, the method for manufacturing the electrostatic charge image developing toner features that when the mixing ratio (PE/(St-Ac)) of the polyester resin (PE) to the styrene-acrylic resin (St-Ac) is <=0.6 or >=1.5, the temperature T of the kneaded resin just after passing rolling rolls of a cooling device and the softening temperature Tm of the binder resin satisfys the relation of T<1.5Tm in the process of kneading the material by a kneading machine and rolling and cooling the kneaded discharged product by the cooling device, and that when the mixing ratio is 0.6<PE/(St-Ac))<1.5, the relation of T<1.25Tm is satisfied.</p> |
