摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leak detection sensor for detecting the leak of hydrogen gas at a high temperature. SOLUTION: The leak detection sensor is constituted so as to detect the leak of the hydrogen gas by grasping a change in an electric resistance value by noticing that platinum is eroded at a high temperature by hydrogen to be increased in its electric resistance value, and phosphorus or a phosphorus oxide is allowed to coexist with platinum in order to accelerate the erosion of platinum by hydrogen to accelerate the response of detection. A platinum detection part 1 is housed in a stainless steel pipe 5 and a phosphorus powder is mixed with alumina cement. This mixture is charged in the gap between the platinum detection part 1 and the stainless steel pipe 5 to form a filling bed 3. In the detection part 1, a fine wire of platinum is wound around a winding frame 2 formed by molding and sintering alumina in a mutual non-contact state, and both ends of the platinum wire are connected to a conductor 4 to measure the electric resistance value of platinum by a resistance meter.
